Welcome to ParkUp. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our parking management platform and services. By accessing or using ParkUp, you agree to be bound by these terms.

All fees for parking services, subscriptions, and additional features are clearly displayed on our platform. You agree to pay all applicable fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms in effect at the time the fees become due.

We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment systems. All payment information is processed securely through encrypted channels.

Parking fees are calculated based on the duration of stay, vehicle type, and applicable rates. Lost ticket fees and other penalties will be charged as specified by the parking facility operator.

5. Limitation of Liability

ParkUp provides the platform and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

While we facilitate parking management, we are not responsible for the physical security of vehicles, theft, damage, or any incidents that occur on parking facility premises. Each parking facility operator is responsible for the security and management of their location.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParkUp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the ParkUp platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and data compilations, are the exclusive property of ParkUp and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for its intended purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions or engaged in fraudulent or illegal activities.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease, though certain provisions of these terms will continue to apply.

ParkUp reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through prominent notices on our platform.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of San José, Costa Rica.
